PURPOSE: A composite boiler using oil and electricity is provided to solve the problems of temporal or spatial limits in electricity supply by using two kinds of fuel including electricity and gas. CONSTITUTION: A combustion chamber(3) is mounted to ignite oil, and an oil burner(2) is installed. Exhaust gas is discharged to a gas passage(4) connected with the combustion chamber. A couple of electric heaters(1) are mounted on the upper end of the combustion chamber. A hot water coil(5) is installed at the upper end of a boiler to supply hot water. An oil burner and the electric heaters supply energy to the boiler alternately. The composite boiler using both oil and electricity uses the two kinds of energy simultaneously or alternately. Therefore, the economic property and efficiency of the boiler is increased. In addition, the running costs are reduced and the boiler is maintained easily.
